Hallo, and welcome to This Blank Page. Or, alternately, One Word At A Time. It doesn't really have a title, at this moment. I suck at coming up with titles.

This originated as a writing journal, but has sort of morphed into an icon journal. Maybe I'll still have writing in here, but mostly icons. So read the rules and have fun! I enjoyed making them, I hope you enjoy using them :)

I love this movie. I really do. Visually it's really cool in its bleakness and dim lighting and desaturation and shades of brown and grey and blue.

But the same things I love on the big screen also make me want to tear my hair out when it comes to iconning.

Damn spy movie with your mood lighting and your 70s colour scheme.

As you can probably tell, I sort of gave up halfway through the film and went straight to the end. Maybe I'll go back and icon the rest, but the colours are driving me nutty and I need a break from it.

I -- have a lot of feelings relating to Sebastian Stan and his amazing acting ability, and he just really needs to be in everything right now, please.

Which is why, despite the berzillions of icons of him already existing, I felt the need to make a set of his stupidly perfect face.

His character in Once Upon a Time had some issues with personal space, which made some of the cropping really obnoxious. Ah well.

Okay this took me a while to figure out how to organize, because each icon batch by itself was rather small, given that I only had promo pics to work with (National Theatre Live, give us our DVD D:!!!)

So I decided to do it by actor, rather than by character, since their features are pretty distinct, even while in Creature makeup. So it'll be Benedict Cumberbatch in all his roles (plus promo shoots), then Johnny Lee Miller, then the both of them, along with some cool promo posters and a few Creature icons that could be either of them.

To make things easier, I'll also tag by character. Here goes!

I love this movie, even if it's a cheesy Julia Roberts Lifetime movie. I'm not sure how much use this set will get, but I think he looks lovely and fragile and fantastic. So there.

So I love this movie and almost everything about it.

Except for the lighting.

Seriously Branagh, I know you're a Shakespearean actor/director, but you don't need that much mood lighting. You can use more than one torch to light a scene.

I'm not entirely happy with the colour on some of these, because of how yellow some of the scenes were, but I got tired of trying to make them look normal, so I apologize for the yellowness of some of these icons.

Split up into two because ij told me the post was too large XD Anyway, enjoy!
